What works best for you?

What are effective methods of instruction that you use?
*One of the most effective methods of instruction that I use to introduce new vocabulary is a method called TPR or total physical response (google "Asher").  I look through my vocabulary list and break it up into small chunks picking out the words that are most effectively taught using this method. I only do TPR for 5 minutes or less as it gets monotonous for high school students.  I have had much success using TPR as an introductory activity.

I'd like to first apologize as I'm not sure this will be the easiest way to share ideas.  We can hopefully use this forum to begin with and see how it goes.  I believe that email will be the best way of communicating and sharing files, but this forum may also serve that purpose.  Don't be afraid to post questions, comments or other as that is what this all about!
